The History

Ristorante La Rosetta 1966-2006

In 2006, La Rosetta celebrated its fortieth anniversary as an only fish and seafood restaurant in Rome. La Rosetta was founded in 1966 thanks to Carmelo Riccioli and Romana Colella, husband and wife, who, filled with passion for the seafood kitchen and “conviviality,” dedicated their lives to fulfil their common desire, which as time went by became more alive and intense. As great lovers of the Sicilian seafood gastronomical tradition, they delighted and thrilled their regular customers with simple but delicious dishes.

In 1982, Massimo Riccioli, the son of Carmelo and Romana, took over the restaurant together with his sisters. They are continuing their parent’s tradition confirming and increasing the great reputation of the restaurant.
