The Fish

In Italy, people eat more fish in the South (about 11%) while in the North the fish' consumption goes down to the 5%. For seafood to remain an excellent healthy alimentary its freshness should always be controlled and it should be cooked properly. The ideal methods are the light ones with few dressings: for example cooking it in the oven only covered with salt, where the fish conserves its delicate flavour. Another good way to prepare the fish is to grill it, provided that burnt parts are removed as they are highly noxious. Boiled fish is also light but it loses some important nutritional values like salt and other minerals. Fried fish is more tasty but unfortunately also contains much more calories.
